Our 
Story

As Tennessee natives, Blake and Calea both grew up exploring the wonders of nature.  After serendipitously meeting in Nashville, they fell in love, got married and began their goal boards.

After a few years of gardening on a smaller lot, Blake wanted the space to realize his vision of stewarding native beauty and creating space for intentional community. He fell in love with a property with a fixer upper so Calea applied to an HGTV show to turn the house into a home (watch now on Hulu- Season 2. Eps.10), and Juneberry was born! 

After experiencing the frustration of trying to take photos at a busy park and seeing the lack of private rental spaces for local photographers, Blake and Calea made a plan to utilize their beautiful property to create a space for photographers to provide their clients with a comfortable and private experience.

Blake, a Davidson County Master Gardener and photographer, is continually working to transform the outdoor landscape into a destination where photographers can access the serenity of nature without having to leave the city so Juneberry is always offering new and beautiful backdrops.
